Starting today, there will be some city construction going on right outside our cafe doorstep on the corner of Avenida Pico and Boca De La Playa. Don’t fret loyal Ellie’s patrons, we will be open during the improvement process so you won’t have to be deprived of your daily pastry and cup of joe. Plus, we will have additional outdoor seating on the Patio of the Stars on certain days. The City of San Clemente will be extending curbs to calm traffic and enhance the safety of pedestrians in the area. Their objective, and ours as well, is to minimize any inconvenience to the public and complete the development as quickly as possible.
